Back with another Soulful House episode - we've reached Vol. 20 already :) - here are some hot & funky tunes for ya.

DJ Meme is back in business and delivers after two years another cover of a legendary 70s salsoul song: Love Is You by Carol Williams. On the vocals - supported by the DJ Meme Orchestra - Tracey K.
Another hot track from DJ Meme is his remix of Bah Samba's "Have You Got Your Bootz On?". This one really works on the dancefloor and brings back happy Disco-House feelings.

Corduroy Mavericks are bringing us a brilliant track called "Unsettled" - have you heared the vocals before but you don't know where... check out Kimbra's "Settle Down". Oh, i love this track.

But one of the sexiest soulful tracks in 2011 is Rich Earnshaw's "Cry Me A River" and Imogen Ryall on the vocals. Really, i can't stop playing this tune. HOTNESS!

DJ Meme Orchestra - Any Love

Since ever i loved Chaka Khan's "Any love" (video) from 1979, one of her less known tracks. Over the years it has been remixed often, sometimes good, sometimes average, sometimes poor. Absolutely great voice and lyrics.
Some years ago DJ Memê became one of my favourite producers / remixers of this time. He did some excellent remixes like Fish Go Deep's "The Cure & The Cause", Panevino's "The Best of Me" or Groove Junkies' "Dr. Feelgood". I simply love his philly-styled Disco-Orchestra Sound.

Now guess what happened? Right. DJ Memê did a Re-Edit of Chaka Khan's classic. The tune is to be released soon, some promo videos are available on YouTube (below). But very spectacular is also the Making Of Clip to this track, esp. the second half. More, more, more of this stuff please! Check this out!
