The long-awaited Latin Hustle Vol. 4 is finally here with some really uplifting and feel-good tracks for the summer.
I've selected some of the best club hits for this new mix - so it doesn't really matter if you listen to it before or at party ;-)
Along with great mixes from Knee Deep who pulled out some amazing Latin-House tracks in 1999-2002 my absolute favorite here is Havana Funk with its totally addictive Vocal smasher "All about you". So bad it only came out on Bargroove's Disco Heat Compilation.
Also have an eye on Louie Austen's wonderful and soulful Latin-House Hit "Amore" - this is an oustanding record and should be in every DJ case.
From Germany out on Muschitunes Records 2002 comes one of my new favorites: Mundo Azul with "Sereia". There aren't that many Latin-House tunes that are so funky and well arranged. Still wondering that Muschitunes first single was produced by two german guys, i've never heared of. Great job!

Back with some great songs which made history in 1998, this mix is the first one out of three and it's focused on French House and UK Underground tracks. So is the title "From Paris to London" altough we hit Germany or the Netherlands as well with some of the tracks...
Starting with a big club hit from Bob Sinclar who sampled Jane Fonda's fitness video and made it a very addictive hookline in this typical French House tune. Sampling old Disco sounds was characteristic for the tunes in this time as you can see in the following ones.
The second half takes it a bit more deeper to the UK Underground scene as the Garage House sound came up with its distinctive beats (and baselines) on the island.
The next Chapter will bring you some of the best Vocal-House tunes of 1998 - stay tuned.

Some of these tracks here are my all-time favorites like Jamie Lewis' Re-Work of Cerrone's song You Are The One. DJ Roog did with one of Hardsoul's first records Never Gonna Stop a monster hit for me.
Mousse T. brings with Brother On The Run the real 70's funk-feeling back and Norma Jean Bell's I'm The Baddest Bitch is a real Classic already.

The time has finally come for a new Lounge House Mix - i did the last one over half a year ago!
Yes Baby, it's spring time and so is the music! This time we have some smooth latin-flavoured Lounge-House tunes again.
Lady Plus (a moniker of Matthew Boone - master of Disco-House) opens the mix with an outstanding Latin-House track from 1999.

First i gotta say: This Mix is massive! I saved many of these tunes for the right time - now this is it!
Some tracks in here are really rare and hard to get - even today - because record companies don't see any need to make them available as a digital release. I have so many tracks i'm desperately after but they're still not available, lets hope they will be one day.
I love many tunes in this mix: Sami Dee's track U'R My Hero is wonderful and never gets boring - you can play it for years. Copyright's track Hold Me Tighter is just a promo as i know because it's a bootleg. Mutiny UK dropped some nice tunes in 1999 and 2000 while Joey Negro did an amazing mix of Fire Island's (aka Farley & Heller) Classic "There But For The Grace Of God" from 1993. Both sound still fresh!
Now Guy Robin is one of the hottest producer around - you can expect more of his tracks in the next mixes... Finally i gotta say that i truly love Nerio Dubwork's Remix of Richard Grey's great track You Can Run. The other mixes are great as well but Nerio (aka Nari + Milani) know how to groove it right.

BEAT WIN US a great House Music radio station from France with a focus on funky and soulful House is going to play some of my Soulful and Classic House mixes. The first mix will be played tomorrow at 21:30h (9.30 pm) followed by another mix at 23:00h (11 pm Central European time).
