I am not much into posting the lastest releases but there are a few records every year that are worth it. Like this: Isaac Fresco - Foxtrot.

Following the recent Swing-House style, Isaac Fresco goes even further mixing uptempo jacking beats with this addictive foxtrot melody.

On Guesthouse US - always a label you can count on - this release is available on August 2nd 2010 and features mixes by DJ Sneak, DJ Mes and Soydan. Go and get it now - it will also be definately in one of my next mixes!

Swing House Session Vol. 2 (Chicago House)

It's swing time again, baby! I decided to start a separate Swing House serie and redeclared the Soulful House Vol. 8 - Swingin' Chicago-House as its Vol. 1 - because more mixes will constantly follow!

So here comes Volume Two with some fresh and brand new tunes from great artists like South of Roosevelt, Wattie Green, Parov Stelar and many more which i will feature in the next mixes.
Many of these guys are located in the States but there are some cool formations from Europe too like Caravan Palace which are from Paris (France) and also doing great live performances.

Check out this groovy mixture of Swing, Jazz, Blues and Funk on tasty House Beats. It is one of the hottest new styles of the last years and will definately stay for a while!

The Latin Hustle Vol. 5

Wow, it's sizzling hot right now here in Germany, we currently got 36°C almost every day =:o)
It's just the perfect weather for some latin beats! So here we go...

This episode comes with some dirty and true Latin-House tracks.
Giano (aka Ian Lujan) and Paz & Smokingroove - basically doing funky Jackin' House - come up with some real Latin House stompers. Furthermore we some great tracks from Latin House kings like Grant Nelson, Claude Monnet, Lego and many more.

My favorite one here is definately Mungavine by Eddie Hernandez from 2004 and Brian Boncher's Masquerade.

Summerfunk Vol. 2

Just in time for the summer the long awaited and highly requested Summerfunk Volume 2 has finally arrived.
Like in Vol. 1 it's all about funky, groovy and happy tunes for the summer in these 80 minutes.

Starting with a huge Michael Jackson cover by Jay Kid, the mix begins slowly with some sexy melodic tracks and catches the groove in the second half of it.
My absolute favorite - and really one of the best releases this year - is Mowgli with Tara McDonald on the vocals of Can't Stop Singing. This track has everything it needs and (what i like most) a funky wobbling Speed Garage like bassline.

Pete Lorimer's Remix of Barry Manilow's super-hit Copacabana is outstanding. Stacy Kidd did a nice jazzy re-interpretation of another classic: Street Life, and Mousse T. had his magic hands on Boney M's hit Sunny.
