Revisited House Chapter 11 - Disco-House Classics 2

It has been almost a year since my last Mix from the Revisited House series and over 1 1/2 years since the last Disco-House Classics Mix.

Also - my blog turned 2 years last month - so it's about time to reveal THAT song you always hear in my mixes. Well, the voice drop mainly ;-)
It's one of my all-time favourite Disco-House tracks: Foreal People's Discotizer, produced by Joey Negro.

I bet that some of you have just discovered this genre through Armand van Helden's latest Disco-House project Duck Sauce. Well, this kinda sound - dominated by happy Disco samples and lots of filters - had its peaktime already about 12 years ago! Yes Baby, it rocked the floor like you dont know.

Soulful House Vol. 18

Here we go with a new Soulful House episode and a bunch of hot new tunes with a lot of female power!

As you heared in the last episodes remixes of old classics are in right now. This time Pagany delivers a brilliant new interpretation of Stevie Wonders "Another Star" and Myles Sanko on the vocals.
Cerrone revamped his 1976's track "Midnite Lady" and gave it a modern club groove.

My other favorites here are Seb Skalski with "Disco Galaxy" and Yohann Levems with "Vendetta" and Donna Hidalgo on the vocals.

Dancemob / Swingmob @ Kulturcafé Lichtung Köln

Dancemob - you ask? Dancemob is one of Cologne's hottest parties atm. It's a gathering of people for just one intention: to dance. But not all night long as on other parties, just for 2 hours! This is what makes this event so special.

The next one next wednesday will be a Swing Edition - two hours of Swing Music crossing all music genres - and i will be playing along with Marvis (Sweet Headache), Madamme Summit and Mike S-Kreama.
